The OPS process incorporates pre-operative functional imaging to create a detailed analysis of the way your hip moves during defferent daily activities. This analysis provides the surgeon more information on how to optimize the position of your new hip replacement to suit the unique way in which your body movies. During your operation, the position of your new hip replacement will be guided by the use of a patient specific guide, precisely designed to fit with the anatomy of your hip. This instrument is then attached to a laser guided system which helps to accurately align the prosthesis into the planned position.
